i see so many scattered masterposts and wanted to create my own. these are purely from my own experience and i do not recommend anyone try these. please remember you can always recover.
♡fasting♡
• do not break a fast with a binge. it will shock your system, eat 150 cals at most then work your way up.
• do not exercise while fasting. you’ll have no energy to complete your exercise. • fasting longer than 48 hours is really not recommended, please be careful fasting longer than this.
• drink more water while you are fasting, trust me it makes it easier.
• if you start to faint, EAT SOMETHING PLEASE!!!
• do not be too strict with yourself while fasting. 10 cals will not break a fast despite what most people will tell you.
• if you are going to fast, sleep. you will hurt less.
• for anyone like me who uses drugs, do not pop pills on an empty stomach. norco is literally the worst thing i’ve ever taken while fasting. pot helps me forget that i am having hunger pains but it also makes me binge eat like a motherfucker. i tend to get headaches worse when i smoke pot too, i really just suggest not using while fasting.
♡hiding habits♡
i am only putting this here because i am terrified of going to a mental health facility even if i desperately need it. i would get ten times worse if i were sent to highland, and i am sure some people agree.
• i personally have a big bag that i carry everywhere with me. i keep granola bars in it (or small snacks) so people will assume that i eat them.
• grab a handful of cereal and half a cup of milk. pour the milk in a bowl and throw the cereal in, swish it around the bowl then put it in the sink. now it looks like you ate.
• ask for plastic silverware that you can throw away. eat a small spoonful of peanut butter (or something similar that will leave a stain) and leave it out for people to see.
• the more you talk about food and losing weight in front of people they will start to think you’re obsessed. don’t.
• if you’re confronted about having an ed, don’t get angry. tell a small truth such as: yeah i have cut down my intake a bit. people will believe a small truth more than they will a big lie.
• whenever you eat, try and eat in front of people if possible.
♡purging♡
• ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BRUSH YOUR TEETH AFTER PURGING!! YOU ARE RUBBING THE ACID IN. WAIT ONE HOUR AT LEAST.
• take a swig of milk before and after you purge, it helps soothe your throat.
• chew a tums (or antacid) after you purge. it helps neutralize the stomach acid, so does baking soda.
• use enamel protecting/strengthening mouthwash after you purge.
• purging one hour after you eat is useless.
• you can only purge up to 80% of what you consume.
• drink ‘smart water’ or gatorade after purging. it replenishes your electrolytes.
• if you can avoid purging please do, once you start it becomes addictive.
• floss before you brush your teeth, i know it seems obvious but a lot of people don’t.
♡vitamins♡

take a chewie once daily vitamin with your first meal or when you wake up.
• IRON TABLETS!!! ask your dr first, but you do lose a bit of iron with anamia
• b6 & b12 help boost your metabolism.
• biotin helps with hair growth. girls, if you have pcos beware. i have heard horror stories of body hair getting worse with biotin and not going away after you stop use. if you are on spironolactone please ask your dr before you try biotin.
• fish oil never hurts.

if you can stomach them, include high protein boost/generic shakes into your diet. they are anywhere from 80-190 cals a piece, so use them wisely. you need all the protein you can get when losing weight.
♡low cal food and drinks♡
• apple/honey water:
1tbsp apple cider vinegar (pref) or honey
2 cups water (.5l)
½ tsp cinnamon
sugar/sweetener to taste
milk/creamer to taste if you’re splurging but i never do this
microwave on high for 2 minutes. pour in sugar/milk and drink. it helps boost metabolism and curb appetite.
• flavored yogurt
plain nonfat yogurt
2tsp cocoa powder
1tbsp honey
mix and eat!
